How To Apostille
Translation Documents

If you’re looking for a document translation apostille near me look no further because we only need three things from you to complete the expedited Texas apostille translation document process.
First, mail us or drop off at our office your original translated documents (it cannot be a photocopy) that have been properly wet ink notarized by a Texas notary public (you cannot use a notary public from any other state or country) and a copy of the original document that got translated.
The Texas Secretary of State office will only accept and issue Texas apostille certificates on original Texas notarized translated documents that are physically presented to them, not photocopies.
The Texas Secretary of State authentications unit will only issue universal Texas apostille certificates for any country in the world on non-recordable documents (translated documents) if they are the originals and they are properly Texas notarized by either wet ink (wet ink meaning you physically sign a document in front of a Texas notary public with a pen who then wet ink stamps and signs your document).
Or if you currently live OUTSIDE of Texas in another U.S state or OUTSIDE the U.S in another foreign country you can get your non-recordable document (translation documents) electronically Texas notarized by a licensed Texas e-notary, RON (remote online notary), and virtual notary public. Meaning, you DO NOT have to be living in Texas or need to travel back to Texas to perform the notarization on your document.
Your translator MUST have a valid USA government identification (U.S passport, U.S drivers license, U.S permanent residence card, or a U.S non-driving state photo ID card to show the Texas notary public) to legally do this remote electronic notarization option. You can only use a licensed Texas online notary public and no other state or country online notary public can be used.
If you qualify for and choose the Texas online notary option you EMAIL us (you do not mail us anything using this option) your electronically signed and notarized document, our completed Texas apostille service order form saved as a PDF, and a prepaid return FedEx, UPS, or DHL shipping label PDF.
Either you or a Texas notary public can copy/paste this below Texas notary jurat or Texas notary acknowledgment verbiage onto a blank Microsoft Word document (DO NOT print this whole webpage out as is and get it notarized) and attach it to your translated documents or simply handwrite (print NOT cursive) this state-required Texas notary jurat (first one) or Texas notary acknowledgment (second one) verbiage onto the backside of your translation documents.
Click on the big PDF icons below that say, “CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD” to instantly download a copy of the Texas notary jurat or Texas notary acknowledgment verbiage that you can print out, sign, and put on or attach to your translation documents to receive a Texas apostille certification.

The above Texas notary jurat and Texas notary acknowledgment verbiage must be written in all English on your translated documents. The actual translated document content can be in any non-English language but the entire Texas notary acknowledgment or Texas notary jurat text cannot be in a different or translated language other than English.
If the Texas notary jurat or Texas notary acknowledgment verbiage that is used on your translation document is not 100% in English your translated document will be rejected by the Secretary of State of Texas.
Click below for a translation certificate template to give to the translator that you hire to make sure they and the Texas notary (remember the translator cannot be both the translator and the notary on the document you need two different people) complete it properly so your translated document doesn’t get rejected by the State of Texas.

Second mail or drop off at our office a prepaid FedEx or UPS return shipping label (we do not accept air waybills) that you can create and purchase online at FedEx.com or UPS.com from anywhere in the world without needing to create or have an existing account set up with them. You can also visit any UPS Store or FedEx Office location to purchase a prepaid return shipping label as well.
DO NOT use the United States Postal Service (USPS) because they lose things constantly
(potentially your translation documents) and are completely unreliable and slow.
The reason we require a prepaid return shipping label is so we can mail your translation document apostille back to you or to wherever and whomever in the world that you want it shipped to.
On the prepaid return FedEx or UPS shipping label that you must provide us please list the senders (from) mailing address as your name/address or any U.S address because you cannot list our company name or address as the from/sender for liability reasons. Then for the receiver’s address (to) just list the name/address of where and who you want your translated document apostille mailed back to.
Click on the below links for easy step-by-step screenshot directions on how to create a prepaid FedEx or UPS shipping label online in only a few minutes.
If it’s an international shipment (USA to another foreign country) please also provide us with a customs invoice (also called a commercial invoice). See the two links below to download custom prefilled out for you templates that shipping companies (FedEx, UPS) will normally require you to include whenever you ship documents internationally to certain countries.
If you or someone on your behalf will be returning to our office to pick up your translation document apostille you of course won’t need to provide us with a prepaid return shipping label.
For the fastest possible turnaround time, we can hand deliver your apostilled translated documents right to your home, office, business or hotel the very same day that we apostilled it for an additional courier fee.
The courier cost will depend on what city and zip code in Texas you need us to travel to. This is for situations where you don’t have the time to travel back to our office to pick up your document translation apostille or you don’t want it mailed anywhere.

Third, you will need to download, sign, and mail or drop off at our office our rush Texas apostille service order form that can be instantly downloaded by clicking on the blue Texas apostille services order button below.
We cannot accept or process your translation document apostille request by mail or drop off until we receive a properly completed Texas apostille service order form from you.
If you will be dropping your document translation off at our office in person you must bring this completed Texas apostille services order form in with you along with any other documents that you want us to rush Texas apostille for you.
When you arrive at our office walk up to our front lobby receptionist desk area and tell them that you have a translated document to dropoff for Apostille Texas. Detailed directions and pictures of our office and office building are on our contact us page as well for you to view.
Please also understand your document translation will not and cannot be apostilled onsite at our office so this isn’t apostille walk-in service.
The only legal and government entity in Texas or in the world that can issue Texas apostille certificates is the Texas Secretary of State which is where we will rush file your translation document at on your behalf.
We must receive your notarized translated documents by mail or dropped off at our main HQ office by 12PM CST Monday-Friday (excluding all major federal and state holidays when the TXSOS office is closed) to be able to provide you with same day Texas apostille services. If we receive your notarized translation documents after that noon cutoff time, don’t worry, we’ll attempt to file it with the Texas Secretary of State on the next business day.
Depending on the workload of the Texas Secretary of State and how many total documents are presented to them on any given day. It is currently taking the Texas Secretary of State as of October 2025 between 0-2 business days to issue Texas apostille certificates once documents are physically submitted to them in person by us.
If we receive your notarized translated documents by mail or drop off by our noon CST cutoff time we’ll be able to file your notarized translation documents with the TXSOS that same day. Then it’s “possible not probable” that the TXSOS will issue your apostille certificate on the same day (= 0 days) we filed it with them. But please understand it can take the TXSOS up to two business days to issue Texas apostille certificates from the day we hand submit and file your documents with their office.
Example scenario #1: We receive your documents BEFORE or by our noon CST cutoff time on a Monday and then we file them that same day. The TXSOS will either issue an apostille certificate on your documents that same day (0 days), the next business day (1 day), or in 2 business days. So worse case scenario your Texas apostille certificate will be issued, picked up, and be mailed back to you on that Wednesday.
Example scenario #2: We receive your documents AFTER our noon CST cutoff time on a Monday and then we file them the next business day. The TXSOS will either issue an apostille certificate on your documents that same day (0 days), the next business day (1 day), or in 2 business days. So worse case scenario your Texas apostille certificate will be issued, picked up, and be mailed back to you on that Thursday.
This is why physically traveling to our main HQ office and dropping off your documents to us instead of mailing your documents to us DOES NOT speed up the rush apostille service process at all!
Lastly, we do not have these Texas apostille services order forms available at our front desk receptionist area.
So if you choose to drop off your document translation at our office please make sure to print out and bring this Texas apostille services order form in with you.
