The Texas Secretary of State Office Will Be CLOSED On February 16th 2026 For President’s Day

The Texas Secretary of State’s office will be closed all day on Monday, February 16th, 2026, in observance of Presidents’ Day, which is a federal holiday.
So if we receive any documents by mail from you on that day, we won’t be able to file them with the State of Texas until Tuesday, February 17th.
Our main Austin, TX office will be open as usual from 9am-5pm if you want to drop off your documents at our office, but again, we won’t be able to file them with the State of Texas until the next business day.
