The Texas Secretary of State Office Will Be CLOSED On April 3rd 2026 For Good Friday.

The Texas Secretary of State’s office will be closed all day on Friday, April 3rd, 2026, in observance of Good Friday, which is a federal holiday.
So if we receive any documents by mail from you on that day, we won’t be able to file them with the State of Texas until Monday, April 6th.
Our main Austin, TX office will be open as usual from 9am-5pm if you want to drop off your documents there, but again, we won’t be able to file them with the State of Texas until the next business day.
