FBI Apostille Service Order Page

■ You can only choose ONE foreign (non-USA) country per document. The United States Department of State will only issue ONE apostille or authentication certificate on ONE document and for ONE foreign (non-USA) country. This means the Department of State will not issue you multiple apostilles or authentication certificates or for multiple countries on one document.

■ All federal government document filing fees are included in our rush FBI apostille service pricing.

■ Because we will be rushing to file your documents at the United States Department of State’s office on your behalf, you do not complete or mail/email/drop off to us the Federal Apostille Form DS-4194. We have a different apostille order form that we must complete and submit to the State Department along with your documents.

■ Above you can upload as many FBI background check report PDFs as you want (when you have multiple background checks maybe for you and your wife or your and your kids or you want to obtain multiple federal apostille certificates to be used in multiple different countries) but you can only upload one document (PDF attachment) at a time. You only have to give us ONE prepaid return shipping label, regardless of how many FBI background check reports you have or how many apostilles you want to order.

■ You can only place an online order (you click on the email button below and upload on this page your original FBI background check report PDF and one prepaid return shipping label) with us if you ordered and downloaded a digital/electronic version (PDF) of your FBI criminal background check. If you were only mailed your FBI background check report and you never requested and downloaded the digital/electronic PDF version of your FBI background check, you cannot order online with us.

In this case, you’ll have to mail or drop off your original FBI background check report to us (click on the print button below) with a prepaid return FedEx or UPS shipping label and this printed-out federal apostille order form page. Also, in case you were thinking this, you CANNOT make photocopies or scan the FBI background check report pages that were physically mailed to you, and then email us the scanned copies in a PDF format to apostille.

The U.S Department of State will only accept the original PDF file of your FBI background check report that you downloaded or will download off of an FBI-approved channeler’s website (the website where you ordered your FBI report from) which is why you can’t email us scanned copies that you made or drop off photocopies to our office. The original FBI background check report PDF file has security watermark features built into the PDF that you can’t see.

■ When creating and buying a FedEx, UPS, or DHL prepaid return shipping label they will ask you for a sender’s address (from address) which means if your documents get lost in the mail the sender’s address is the return address of where the undelivered documents will be sent back to by FedEx, UPS, or DHL.

You must put your name and address or your company’s name and address as the sender (from address) on the prepaid shipping label and/or on the customs invoice if shipping internationally. Depending on what foreign country you live in outside the U.S, the FedEx, UPS, or DHL online system may see your foreign IP address and not let you use your foreign address as the sender (from address). If this happens, you must list a friend, relative, or company office address in the U.S as the sender (from address).

You CANNOT put our company name (Apostille Texas) or our address as the sender or importer because we are not the sender or importer. The sender/importer is you because you created and paid for the prepaid return shipping label, not us, and you are 100% responsible for paying all current shipping and any future customs charges when shipping internationally.

You must place the required prepaid return shipping label that you created and bought INSIDE the envelope that you mail us, along with your documents and our order form. DO NOT place or stick the prepaid return shipping label anywhere else.

We will not mail your documents back to you if you mail, email, or drop off to us a prepaid return shipping label or customs invoice that wrongly has our company name, phone number, or address listed anywhere on it. FedEx, UPS, and DHL wrongly send us and try to collect from our company unpaid shipping bills because people and companies don’t pay their full shipping charges and customs fees when sending internationally.

■ The U.S Department of State does not and will not give us or anyone (you) status or order updates of any kind, so we cannot give you order status updates once you place your order with us (welcome to the completely broken federal government system post-COVID). Only on the day the State Department finally issues a federal apostille certificate or authentication certificate on your documents will they notify us.

■ The United States Department of State announced that beginning October 1st, 2024, they will finally (thank the apostille gods) reopen their doors for rush walk-in services after being closed to the public for over 4 1/2 years!

The new U.S Department of State’s three rules, starting October 1st, 2024, are as follows:

1. Each apostille services company or apostille agent will only be able to submit 15 documents per day.
2.  The USDOS working days are now reduced to being open from Monday through Thursday (they are closed on Fridays), excluding all federal holidays.
3. Apostilled or authenticated issued documents can be picked up 7-9 business days (excluding Fridays) after they have been hand-submitted to the U.S Department of State.
