How will the Texas apostille certificate
or Texas authentication certificate be
attached to my documents?
Your successfully filed document will come back to you from the Texas Secretary of State (TXSOS) with an 8 ½ x 11 universal apostille certification stapled to it.
Please be aware that if the staple comes out of your Texas apostille certificate the foreign government or entity that requested and required you to get this done could possibly reject your documents when you try to submit it to them.
So if you have to scan and email the documents to someone please make sure to carefully flip back the page with the certificate attached to it and don’t take off the staple when you do the scan.
