How do I apostille a
death certificate in Texas?
If you already have an originally issued Texas death certificate or a raised seal certified copy of death certificate that was issued less than 25 years ago all you have to do is mail or drop off at our Austin, TX office the death certificate along with our expedited Texas apostille order form and a prepaid return FedEx or UPS shipping label/envelope so we can mail all your documents back to you.
If you don’t have an original or raised seal certified copy Texas death certificate yet (or it was issued over 25 years ago) you will need to order another one from either Texas Vital Records/Texas Vital Statistics (you can use our sister company to same business day obtain one for you) or from the Texas county where your family member passed away at.
