How long it takes to apostille a document depends on you and where you need it apostilled.
All 50 U.S states have their own Secretary of State offices that can issue STATE-LEVEL apostille certificates. Each state’s turnaround time is different, and if you’re using an expedited apostille service company like ours, the time will also vary.
If you need to apostille a document at the FEDERAL level, that can only be done in Washington, D.C, at the U.S Department of State office. The federal apostille process takes much longer than the state-level apostille process.
