New Texas Apostille Processing Times – Effective April 20, 2026

We were notified this morning by the Deputy Director of Government Filings regarding an update to apostille processing times at the Texas Secretary of State.
Effective April 20, 2026, the processing time for apostille certificates has changed:
- Previous turnaround: Up to 48 hours (2 business days)
- New turnaround: Up to 72 hours (3 business days)
As a result, beginning April 21, 2026, any documents we receive from you—whether by mail or drop-off—may take up to 72 hours (3 business days) for the Texas Secretary of State to complete the apostille, starting from the day we submit your documents to their office.
We will continue to submit all documents as quickly as possible and keep your orders moving efficiently through the process.
