Can I get a Texas Certificate
of Filing apostilled or authenticated?
No.
For some odd unknown reason, the Texas Secretary of State does not and will not issue an apostille or authentication certificate on any Texas Certificate of Filing documents.
Why is that you ask?
We have no idea and when we or our clients have directly asked them they give no real reason other than they don’t do it.
You and your company can however get apostilles or authentications on any Texas Certificate of Fact, Assumed Name Certificates, Articles of Organization, Certificate of Formation, Articles of Incorporation, Certificates of Limited Partnership, Certificates of Existence, or Certificates of Merger.
